Annie Qiao is a Senior Solicitor at ProActive Legal.

Annie graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales in 2013. She was also admitted as a Solicitor to the NSW Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia in the same year. Prior to her Juris Doctor in Australia she attained a Bachelor of Laws in China.

Annie joined ProActive Legal in July 2013 and started to practise in Australia immigration law. In these years, Annie has successfully managed all types of migration applications including employment, humanitarian, skills, family, business and even combinations of these. Annie also assists with review applications to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) and ministerial intervention requests and obtained many successful results for clients  in extraordinary challenging cases.

Annie has assisted many clients to achieve their migration goals especially in the areas of Partner visa and Employer Sponsored visas. She has worked together with David Gu, the Solicitor Director of ProActive Legal, in resolving some of the most challenging and complicated migration problems.

Annie has a solid practical knowledge in immigration law and she has strived to achieve positive results beyond the client’s expectations.

Prior to the ending of dual regulation of lawyers from the migration agent regulatory scheme on 22 March 2021, Annie was also a registered migration agent. Her former MARN was 1570505.

Annie also practice in family law and property law.
